OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH
For their wellbeing.
For your understanding.
Dogs, Cats & More is an independent English-language pet-health publication. Practical education comes before products or promises.
What you will find here
Original dog and cat health guides, written to help you notice changes, build care routines, and prepare for conversations with your veterinary team. We currently cover dogs and cats. Other animals will be added only when complete, carefully sourced material is ready.
How sources are checked
We use veterinary organizations, university health resources, the FDA, and identified veterinary clinical resources. Articles link numbered citations to the source list on the same page. Source checking means the cited material was consulted for support; it does not mean a veterinarian reviewed or approved our articles.
Medical claims are paraphrased into original educational writing. We do not copy retailer articles or treat sales claims as medical evidence. Source-checked dates record when sources were consulted, not when a source was published or medically reviewed. No professional medical-review credential is claimed.
The boundaries matter
These articles cannot diagnose your pet or prescribe treatment. We do not provide medication doses, home poison remedies, or universal feeding prescriptions. Veterinary decisions depend on the individual animal. For urgent signs or suspected poisoning, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital now rather than using a guide to decide how long to wait.
Independence and transparency
This edition contains no affiliate product recommendations, shopping links, checkout, or paid-product rankings. The homepage includes publisher-requested Impact technology; see the privacy and technology notice for the external requests and potential data processing involved. Photography is licensed and credited separately from medical sources.
Articles are source-checked, not veterinarian-reviewed. This publication offers education, not a promise of outcomes.
