What this site asks you to provide

There are no account, newsletter, contact, checkout, or medical-information forms in this edition. Article search and category filtering run in your browser. Our own search code does not send search text to a server or save it in cookies or browser storage. Please do not enter personal or medical information into the search box.

Impact on the homepage

The homepage loads an external script from utt.impactcdn.com. The installed snippet invokes transformLinks and trackImpression. Loading and running third-party technology can cause external requests and may transmit visitor, device, network, or browsing information to Impact. The actual requests and behavior depend on the external script and browser settings. We do not claim this is a tracking-free site.

This edition has no affiliate product links. The presence of the Impact snippet does not mean articles are medical endorsements or that a purchase is required. We have not independently verified Impact’s complete current data behavior. If the external service is unavailable or blocked, its functions may not run.

Hosting and other websites

Requests to a hosted website may appear in hosting access logs, including network information such as IP address and requested page. This static build does not define the host’s log retention settings. Following a source or credit link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices.

Locally hosted assets

Publication styles, navigation and filtering code, and pet photos are served from this site. Typography uses system fonts. The only intentionally installed external JavaScript is the homepage Impact snippet.
